Harry Potter, Hugo, and Super 8 lead Saturn Awards nominations!
My top 3 films of 2011 lead the Saturn Awards (!!!), which are awards presented by the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films. I love the Saturn Awards (not to be confused with the fan-voted Scream Awards which I expressed my love for before). The Saturn Awards are like, the Oscars for genre fare, and they often manage to award/nominate my favorites. Last year, Inception and Let Me In (2 of my Top 4 favorite films that year, a 3rd being Black Swan which also earned a lot of noms/wins) lead the nominations for film, while The Walking Dead lead for TV.
So let me express my love for the Saturn Awards! I mean they’re the only ones that showed Buffy any love during its run!
