Hi, I'm Jio. Here are my thoughts for the day.

Spamming your dashboards with anything related to film and television and music and theater and books and magazines and fun and humor and hilarity that I love.

FOX Orders Surviving Jack, Enlisted, Us And Them, and Brooklyn Nine-Nine To Series

The only one that I’m really looking forward to is Us & Them, which is an American remake of the hilarious British show written by James Corden and Ruth Jones, Gavin & Stacey. I’m a bit intrigued by Seth McFarlane’s first live-action sitcom with Seth Green though, and I am excited for Cougar Town folks Kevin Biegel (Enlisted) and Bill Lawrence (Surviving Jack) getting their own pilots picked up, as well as Parks & Rec creators Michael Schur and Dan Goor’s new show with Andy Samberg, so I’ll check those out too.

Bring on the rest of the networks (especially ABC where I have a lot of pilots I’m praying make it on air)!

FOX orders Rake, Almost Human, Gang Related, and Sleepy Hollow to Series

The sole Fox pilot I had on my Top 20 list made it, so I’m happy about that! That pilot was Almost Human comes from JJ Abrams and JH Wyman who are the minds behind Fringe. I also had Sleepy Hollow, a modern-day version also from members of the Fringe team (Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci), in my honorable mentions list.

Kind of disappointed about the Felicity Huffman pilot not moving on, but I’m fairly excited for all of Fox’s pick ups. Gang Related stars Terry O’Quinn, and the Sam Raimi-directed Rake stars Greg Kinnear. Waiting on their comedy pick-ups!

First look at Fox’s new Tim Kring (Heroes) drama Touch starring 24’s Kiefer Sutherland; premieres Spring 2012

“New Girl” and “Raising Hope”

are both amazing shows that you should be watching. Raising Hope in particular was hilarious tonight. So many great lines and references (including a Happy Endings reference!)

WATCH.

Fall 2011/Spring 2012 TV Shows

So here’s a quick rundown of the new shows that have been picked up by the four major networks (ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox) - click above link.

Of this list of 24 (to be updated to 30 soon), I already know I’m gonna be at least watching/checking out 19 (or 24 total when the 5 of the 6 updates are up) of them when they premiere. Heh.

Looking back on my Top 20 shows I want to see go to series, found here: http://oijio.tumblr.com/post/4014949725/top-20-most-anticipated-pilots-2011-2012 , of the 16 network shows on that list, 10/11 have been picked up to series (all my Top 5 are in, plus both shows on #8, #14, #15, #17, #20), with the other 6 dead or still awaiting news. Also, two of the honorable mentions have also been picked up to series.
